ElizabethApparently, most people come for the hamburgers (and I’ve heard from friends since I arrived that they’re great!) But I went for the hot dogs! As an American, I grew up with them, but until recently, decent hot dogs were rare in Amsterdam.
The chili dog with cheddar cheese and salsa was to my liking- both the food-sized hot dog and the real chili topping were delicious! I also recommend the delicious sweet potato fries! And to round out the American experience, the beer menu offers a Brooklyn lager. Yum! The ambiance is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Reservations are recommended for busy dinner times. Too bad they’re only open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. But I will definitely be back for more!
